Google Hangouts is a free communication tool developed by Google to faciliate video chat, instant messaging, SMS and phone call (VOIP) conversations.
Participants can video chat one-on-one or in a group of up to 10 people, simultaneously text typing, sharing and collaborating on other google tools across all platforms and mobile devices.

Through Hangouts, students can engage in Virtual Field Trips developed on Google+, connect their class to other schools all over the world or within the school.
